Historical model backtesting
Walk-forward evaluation compares a simple historical-frequency selection with a random five-number control. Each test draw is evaluated using only records that precede it in the ordered dataset.
This is a simple research baseline, not a validated predictive edge. The current implementation tests a frequency-ranked line against a random line; it does not optimize parameters or prove statistical significance. Larger and carefully designed tests are needed before drawing conclusions.
